Cameron Cox is the Founder/Executive Director of the Center for Love and Behavioral Change

He is also a member of the Advisory/Partnership Board of the Centre for Behavioural Change and Public Enlightenment.

Cam’s journey as a small business owner has been shaped by my past experiences and the desire to make a positive impact on his community. In his earlier years, he worked as a local radio and television personality, using his voice to connect with people and share stories. However, in the 90s, he faced personal challenges after extensively covering the Oklahoma City bombing as a local news reporter. The emotional toll led to a personal meltdown and battles with drug and alcohol addiction, ultimately resulting in his incarceration. The years that followed were filled with rehabilitation within the criminal justice system.

Upon reentering society, he faced the harsh reality of limited job opportunities and the scarcity of housing options for individuals with a criminal history. Feeling the weight of these challenges, he realized the need to take matters into my own hands.

Leveraging an old banking relationship, he managed to convince a lender to let me purchase a property. This led to the creation of a sober living environment to support state drug court participants who were in need of stable housing and support systems.
